RACE PROCEEDS WILL GO TO BENEFIT VETERANS ONE-STOP CENTER OF WNY
For over nine years, the Veterans One-stop Center of WNY has offered veterans, the military, and their family members, holistic support as they transition from service in our armed forces to veteran life. Since opening our doors in 2013, the Veterans One-stop Center has engaged with over 14,000 veterans, service members, and their immediate family members and provided them with one-on-one case management, housing services, and peer support. Our primary value is to put the veteran first, and this is why we are the only local veteran nonprofit that will serve any person that signed up for the United States Military, regardless of their time in service, or their discharge status. START/FINISH
The race will start and finish near the Corner of Quaker Road and Main Street in Barker New York (View Course Map)
REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUPOnline registration will remain open right up until the start of the race. All participants who register by July 10th at 9am are guaranteed to receive an official Cornfest t-shirt in their desired size. A small quantity of extra shirts will be ordered and distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis until they are gone. Packet pickup will take place from at the village park from 7:30am until the start of the race at 9am.Registration Fee: $25.00 through 6/30/23 then $30.00 through race day

If you prefer to mail in your registration, please download both the race waiver and appropriate USATF liability waiver below and mail to the address shown. You must complete and mail BOTH waivers to the address shown on the waiver along with your check payable to Light Up Barker. Paper applications must be received by 7/20/23.

POST RACE CELEBRATION
This year the race has been moved from August to July and is being held in conjuction with the Town of Somerset Bicentennial celebration! Come on out and help us kickoff an exciting day of events in the Village Park! Stay or come back and enjoy the festivities with family and friends!
PARKINGThere will be plenty of free parking near the start/finish line.AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Trophies will be presented to the top male and female runners. Age group winners will each receive a half dozen ears of corn to take home and enjoy! Custom finisher certificates and can also be downloaded for FREE from the results page.

In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by race organizers (ex: state of emergency, etc), we reserve the right to postpone/reschedule the event at our discretion, or offer a virtual alternative if necessary. TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICESProfessional timing services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
